Week 22 was a full one — Nashville road trip, chiropractic recovery, a toddler who has strong opinions about 4:30 AM, pancakes on demand, and a Sunday service that turned into a conversation about why the altar still matters. A little ordinary, a little sacred, and a reminder that God tends to show up in both.

Week 21 was one of those weekends that reminded me how fast life moves, how much God is doing, and how badly I apparently need a Starbucks intervention. A reflective and heartfelt Weekend Wrap-Up for Week 20, looking back on Mother’s Day weekend, family time with DeAnna and Amira, meaningful moments at GT Church, and the reminder that God’s grace is often found in the ordinary rhythms of life.

A heartfelt tribute to DeAnna, celebrating her love, faith, humor, sacrifice, and lifelong gift of motherhood. From the story of how we met to the way she has loved Danielle, grieved deeply, and mothered countless others as “Mama Dee,” this post honors a woman whose influence reaches far beyond our home.

A personal tribute to my mom, Charlotte Marie Crawford, and the lasting impact she made on my life. Though she was born deaf, she lived with strength, joy, faith, and deep love. She taught me endurance, patience, humor, and the God-kind of love. I will always be grateful for her life, her legacy, and the privilege of being her son.

This weekend was a reminder that life is made up of both the sacred and the simple. Not every moment was flashy, but every moment mattered. I am learning to appreciate the rhythm of it all: the work, the rest, the relationships, the responsibilities, and the reminders that God is present in every part of life.
